Test Engineer
Are you a curious and decisive Test Engineer? Do you have extensive experience with testing (including automation) and a passion for innovation and service? Imagine that your work not only solves technical challenges, but also directly contributes to our customers' experience. At BNG, you will have the opportunity to contribute to sustainability, learn the trade and work in a fun, informal team!
What will you be doing?
In your role as Test Engineer, you will initially be involved in testing and improving our websites. This is a versatile position in a DevOps team, where activities other than testing can range from assessing requirements and translating them into test cases and solutions to providing technical support for the developed websites. You are flexible, creative and able to work independently. Because you will be in close contact with colleagues and users, you need to be able to communicate clearly, be customer-focused and work well in a team.
Your workplace
As a Test Engineer on the team, you will be part of the Delivery department within BNG's COO column. COO is responsible for all ICT and facility services within the bank. The Delivery department consists of approximately 135 employees and 16 scrum teams. You will be working in an ambitious, professional environment where social engagement is key.
The team focuses on the development and maintenance of BNG's public and private website (Mijn BNG). We develop, optimise and maintain this using .NET, Bicep, React, Nodejs, Typescript and Playwright, thereby ensuring the bank's reputation. With the MijnBNG environment, we aim to offer our customers a smooth service and experience.
