Security Analist (Tier-2)
What will you be doing?
We are looking for an experienced Security Analyst (Tier-2) to join our energetic and growing team and strengthen our Security Operations Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing IT security incidents, making a crucial contribution to the bank's digital resilience. With your expertise, you will identify causes and risks and support other teams in finding the right solutions.
With your work experience, you will be successful in the following tasks:
- Performing risk/impact analyses of events and IT security incidents
- Drawing up incident reports for recording and follow-up purposes
- Transferring information about security incidents and improvements to solution groups, including various suppliers and DevOps teams
- Proposing and improving the detection capabilities of our SIEM to increase our digital resilience
Your workplace
As a Security Analyst at Security Operations, you will be part of the IT Security department within the COO column of BNG Bank. COO is responsible for all ICT and facility services within the bank. The COO IT Security department (12 FTE) consists of two segments: Security Consulting, which provides advice on projects, and Security Operations, for which this vacancy has been created.
What we ask of you
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree and relevant work experience in the field of IT Security.
- Demonstrable affinity with Microsoft Security products, including: Microsoft Sentinel (and KQL), Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Thorough knowledge of security standards, including: CIS Benchmark, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, COBIT, PCI/DSS.
- Thorough knowledge of (Cloud) Security Controls, including: Cloud Access Broker (CASB), Identity Access Management (IAM), Conditional Access Policies, Direct Access, Content Delivery (CDN) and VPN/IPSec site-to-site.
- Thorough knowledge of corporate networks and network security, including: Firewalls, (reverse) proxy, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and IPsec
