Information Security Officer
Within our dynamic and fast-growing team, we are looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to strengthen our security consulting team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and advising our development teams, playing a key role in ensuring the security of our applications. Your expertise will help us identify and mitigate security risks, and you will contribute to the development of secure and reliable software solutions.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting development teams and stakeholders in securing processes and systems.
- Setting up and improving application software security.
- Carrying out security assessments.
- Coordinating penetration tests and following up on penetration test findings with the teams
- Advising and challenging projects and teams with regard to security requirements (security by design)
Your workplace
As an Information Security Officer at Security Consulting, you will be part of the IT Security department within the COO column of BNG Bank. The COO department is responsible for all ICT and facility services within the bank. The COO's IT Security department, consisting of 12 FTEs, is divided into two segments: Security Consulting, which advises projects and teams, and Security Operations, which supervises the IT landscape.
What we ask of you
- A completed higher professional education degree and relevant work experience in the field of IT Security
- Demonstrable experience in Application Software Security and performing or supervising penetration tests
- Strong communication skills, but also a highly developed risk profile
- Comfortable using technical jargon, experience with software development in a cloud environment, integration of SaaS services and/or migration of on-premise software to the cloud
